Best Rooftop Bars in North America

Height is only half the pitch, and the best rooftop bars in North America back their views with serious drinks. Overstory, 64 floors up at 70 Pine Street in Manhattan's Financial District, was No. 15 on The World's 50 Best Bars 2024 and wraps its room in a terrace with 360-degree skyline views. Legacy Club looks over downtown Las Vegas from the 60th floor of Circa, with a fire pit on the terrace. Cavaña, on a 17th floor in San Francisco, takes its name and its focus from agave and caña spirits, and Catbird sits above downtown Dallas. Dress up for Legacy Club: athleisure, sports gear and swimwear are not permitted. These are the bars we would start with.
