The Monarch Club

The Monarch Club draws on Detroit's iconic mid-century rooftop bars and revives that elegance atop the restored Metropolitan Building downtown. The result is panoramic views of the skyline, candlelight, handcrafted cocktails and refined bites, with igloo seating available for cold-weather reservations. The list is led by the TMC Old Fashioned, built on the club's own Elijah Craig barrel with cola syrup, cardamom and burnt orange, alongside drinks such as Midnight At The Oasis, At Last (Word) and Stormy Weather, plus zero proof libations, wine, spirits and beer. Small plates run to lamb meatballs and taleggio arancini. Reservations open on a fourteen day rolling basis and a dress code is enforced.
