Sandbar Rooftop sits on West 26th Street and has been dressed this season as the Sandbar Yacht Club, a playful take on coastal, nautical style. A retractable glass roof lets the room work as an open-air rooftop or a fully covered space whatever the weather, with views of the Empire State Building, Hudson Yards and the Freedom Tower. The Yacht Club cocktail list follows the theme: the Compass Rose with rum, lychee and rose water, The Nauti with bourbon, kalamansi and hot honey, the Good Buoy with tequila and hibiscus, and the Spicy Sailor with jalapeño tequila and cucumber. Reservations are recommended, and walk-ins are seated as space allows.
