Latin American glamour meets Thai hospitality at the Four Seasons on the Chao Phraya, under beverage manager Philip Bischoff (ex-Manhattan, Singapore). The current menu is a love letter to Mexico City, its places, people and parties, folding tepache, atole and horchata traditions into the list, alongside a Negroni flight and cigars. Dry Wave Cocktail Studio

Supawit 'Palm' Muttarattana's Thonglor studio opened in January 2024 and rocketed to No.4 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026, the Best Bar in Thailand. Named for the omnipresence of waves, the wood-toned room above SODALITY serves a 'Super Classic' menu in which each drink merges two iconic cocktails from different eras into one, like the 1806-1988, an old fashioned folded into a cosmopolitan. Campari One To Watch 2024. It was a Top 4 finalist for Best New International Cocktail Bar at the 2025 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards.

Lennon's

A speakeasy-inspired vinyl listening bar on Rosewood Bangkok's 30th floor: over 6,000 records, an in-bar vinyl shop, and a room styled as a mid-century home recording studio with a spiral stair to the cigar lounge. Director of bars KT Lam (ex-DarkSide Hong Kong) and bar manager Kosil 'James' Kamja pour the 'Bangkok Beats' menu, eight Thai flavors as musical movements, beside rare spirits back to the 1970s. Bar Sathorn

Sixteen signature cocktails inspired by four eras of an extraordinary building: the 1889 mansion of Luang Sathorn Rajayukta, later the luxurious Hotel Royal, then Thailand's first Russian Embassy (1948-1999), now The House on Sathorn beside W Bangkok. Bar director Marco Dongi reinterprets classics with Thai ingredients, era by era, with curated vinyl sessions Thursday to Sunday. No.17 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026.

Opium

'Liquid Surreality' on the top two floors of the POTONG building, a 120-year-old Chinatown shophouse that once hosted legal opium smoking, New York opulence meets late-night Bangkok under owner Arnon 'KK' Hoontrakul and Italian bar manager Matteo Cadeddu. Nearly fifty cocktails across apéritif-to-duo categories, four house gins with Thai regional character, and food from sister restaurant Potong downstairs. No.25 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026. Closed Wednesdays. It currently stands at No. 92 on the World's 50 Best Bars 2025.

The Bamboo Bar

From its modest start in 1947, The Bamboo Bar has grown into a Bangkok institution, the city's first jazz venue, still wrapped in its sensual 1950s ambience at the Mandarin Oriental. Live jazz plays nightly with band and vocalist, and the current 'Evolution' menu draws on the natural progression of bamboo and local Thai ingredients. Elegant attire after 6:30pm; no reservations, a sought-after walk-in. It received the Timeless International Award at the 2026 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards.

Niks Anuman-Rajadhon and Attaporn De-Silva's cathedral of creative cocktails in two restored Old Town shophouses, stained glass, red light, graffitied stone, a live pianist playing baroque through vintage cinema speakers, and a giant Palad Khik at the door. Every drink arrives with a food pairing, from ikura bombs to pandan cakes; the menu runs from oyster and uni drinks to a section titled 'excessive is necessary'. No.26 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025. The bar holds No. 31 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026.

Aqua Bar

A garden bar within the Anantara Siam Bangkok, set beside the hotel's Parichart Court with a koi pond and terrace seating. It runs a nightly live music program alongside a cocktail list overseen by head mixologist Ryan Germino, and serves an a la carte food menu. It sits at No. 48 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026.

Vesper

Serious cocktails minus the pretentiousness: named after James Bond's martini, Vesper has held a place in Asia's 50 Best Bars every year since 2016 (peaking at No.12 in 2023). Part of the Foodie Collection, the Silom room's current 'Britain Through Seasons' menu wanders the British year, a Rhubarb & Cream spring sour to a brûléed Baked Apple winter warmer.
