Founded by London-born Sam Orrock (ex-Scout), Wax On strips away garnish and theatrics: rotary evaporators, centrifuges and fermentation do the work backstage, many drinks arrive pre-batched on tap for consistency, and the room keeps its warm, minimalist neighborhood feel, fireplace included. The bar placed No. 57 on The World's 50 Best Bars 51-100 list in 2025.
