A Mediterranean terrace over the water at Yung Shue Wan on Lamma Island, opened in autumn 2023 by the team behind Bourke's and Honky Tonks Tavern, now grouped as Big Top Hospitality. The former village house runs over three levels, with a ground-floor terrace hanging above the sea and pared-back rooms in cream, tan and wood. Head chef Richard Solnik, whose cooking spans Greek, Middle Eastern, French and Italian kitchens, works from the charcoal grill: hummus and smoked labneh, grilled white anchovies, heirloom tomato salad, slow-roasted pork belly and whole grilled seabass, served on terracotta. The drinks are built by bartenders from Honky Tonks Tavern, Bourke's and Twist Pasta Bar: cocktails at a flat HK$80, spritzes, wine and beer for the beach. Open Wednesday to Monday from noon until late; the ferry from Central runs to Yung Shue Wan.
