Eleven of the world’s most celebrated cocktail bars — from Hong Kong to Lima — descend on Stockholm for BCA Week, the annual celebration built around the Bartenders’ Choice Awards, running 12–17 March 2026.
For one week every March, Stockholm becomes the centre of the global bar world. BCA Week 2026 brings together visiting teams from some of the most decorated bars on the planet for a series of guest shifts, collaborations, and industry events across the Swedish capital — culminating in the Bartenders’ Choice Awards Gala on 16 March at Vinterträdgården, Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
The BCA Week 2026 Bar Lineup
This year’s visiting roster is the strongest yet. Heading the list is Bar Leone from Hong Kong, currently ranked No. 1 on The World’s 50 Best Bars — the first time the top-ranked bar in the world has made the trip to Stockholm for BCA Week. Alongside them:
Bar US — Bangkok (No. 15 World’s 50 Best Bars, No. 4 Asia’s 50 Best Bars)
Lady Bee — Lima (No. 13 World’s 50 Best Bars)
Shakerato — Amsterdam (from the team behind Handshake Speakeasy, No. 1 World’s 50 Best Bars 2024)
Dukes Bar — London (one of the world’s finest Martini destinations)
Side Hustle — London (No. 75 World’s 50 Best Bars)
Little Red Door — Paris (on The World’s 50 Best Bars list for over a decade)
Jungle — Reykjavik (multiple-time winner of Best Cocktail Bar at the Bartenders’ Choice Awards)
Bar NU — Odense
Pære — Copenhagen
Rørt — Tromsø
Each team will take over a Stockholm bar for a guest shift, offering locals and visitors the rare chance to experience world-renowned venues in an intimate Nordic setting.
The BCA Week Gala at Grand Hôtel Stockholm
The week’s headline event is the Bartenders’ Choice Awards Gala, held on 16 March at the iconic Vinterträdgården, Grand Hôtel Stockholm. Now in its 15th year, the Bartenders’ Choice Awards has become one of the Nordic bar industry’s most respected nights — honouring the bartenders, bars, and leaders driving the region’s cocktail culture forward.
“Bartenders’ Choice Awards has always been about celebrating the people who push our industry forward,” says the BCA team. “During these days the global bar community comes together in Stockholm to share ideas, inspiration and of course great drinks.”
With 15 years of history behind it and its biggest international lineup to date, BCA Week 2026 is shaping up to be the most significant edition yet. For the full programme and updates, follow Bartenders’ Choice Awards on Instagram or visit the official website.
