Vasilis Kyritsis, co-founder of Line, The Clumsies and Walk In in Athens, headlines the guest lineup for Alta Badia Cocktail Week 2027, which runs January 10 to 17, 2027 across eight hotel bars in the Italian Dolomites. Line, which opened in 2022 with a focus on fermentation and local produce, is No. 1 on Europe’s 50 Best Bars 2026 and No. 5 on The 50 Best Bars 2026. Kyritsis, who has more than 17 years behind the bar and represented Greece at the Diageo World Class Global Finals, takes the Velier evening at Hotel Restaurant Jägerhof in Colfosco on Wednesday, January 13.

The organizers named seven of the eight guest bartenders on November 3, filling in the format we described in our first piece. Joining Kyritsis are Timo Siitonen, bar manager of Kupoli at NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa, who founded A21 Cocktail Lounge in 2007; Lucas Kelm who joined the Alajmo Group in 2017 as bar manager of AMO in Venice and now oversees the group’s bars; Edoardo Spagnoli, co-founder of Cotti Spiriti in Milan and formerly head bartender at Club Derrière and beverage director at Drink Kong in Rome; Marco Bullegas, bar manager of TOZI Restaurant & Bar Victoria in London; Marco Masiero of Lubna in Milan, winner of the Campari Bartender Competition; and Mirko Zanna, floor manager of Palazzo Cordusio, a Gran Meliá Hotel, in Milan, formerly of Mandarin Oriental Milan, Casa Brera and The Connaught in London. The eighth guest, at B-Side Alpine Hi-Fi Listening Bar on January 16, will be named in a later update.

How the Week Runs

Now in its second edition, the week moves to a different venue each evening across La Villa, San Cassiano, Colfosco and Corvara. Every venue serves three resident cocktails all week, two alcoholic and one alcohol-free, created by its own bar team. On its designated night the guest bartender joins that team and adds four cocktails, at least one of them alcohol-free, available that evening only. That adds up to 56 cocktails across the week, at least 16 of them alcohol-free. Entry is free, no booking is needed, every event cocktail costs 12 euros, and music runs from aperitivo through after dinner.

The Brief and the Masterclasses

Every drink follows the Ladin Culture First brief. Each recipe uses at least one local ingredient, from herbs and honey to dairy and alpine juices, takes its name from a place or an aspect of the valley’s identity, stays within five ingredients, relies on techniques the resident teams can reproduce in service, and finishes with a fully edible garnish. During the guest shift, the visiting bartender works mainly with the portfolio of the partner paired with the venue: Campari, Velier or Brown-Forman.

Alongside the public evenings, the guest bartenders lead three masterclasses at Graus on January 11, 13 and 15, each devoted to one partner. The sessions are reserved for bartenders from Alta Badia member properties, including those whose bars are not hosting an evening. Alta Badia Cocktail Week is organized by Alta Badia Brand and Cooperativa Turistica Alta Badia with Graus, in collaboration with Campari, Velier and Brown-Forman. The full program is on the Alta Badia website.
