This summer, Montana will make its debut on 108 Hollywood Road in Hong Kong’s vibrant Soho district, setting the stage for a new global cocktail destination. Spearheaded by Lorenzo Antinori and Simone Caporale—two of the world’s most acclaimed bartenders—Montana is more than a bar: it’s a celebration of rhythm, storytelling, and craftsmanship.
Named after a little-known classic from the Club de Cantineros, Cuba’s legendary bartender guild, Montana is a soulful homage to the golden age of Cuban cocktails—filtered through the warm, pop-art glow of 1970s Miami.
Two Icons, One Vision
The idea for Montana was born from the decade-long friendship and creative synergy between Antinori and Caporale. From The Savoy’s American Bar and Artesian to the internationally celebrated Bar Leone (No. 2 at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024) and SIPS Barcelona (The World’s Best Bar 2023), both bartenders have helped shape the global cocktail scene.

The menu pays tribute to the depth of Cuban cocktail heritage, with drinks that reinterpret the classics in wildly creative and ritualistic ways:

El Presidente – Rum, quince vermouth, orange curaçao, saffron, and bitters, “aged” in a dulce de leche-coated bottle.

The aesthetic energy of Montana pulses with vintage Miami soul—think neon lights, vinyl grooves, and a bar that radiates golden warmth. Inspired by Cuban-American cultural fusion, salsa meets disco in a place where Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, and ABBA could play back-to-back.
With nods to iconic venues like Mac’s Club Deuce, Montana evokes the spontaneity and intimacy of great nights out—where strangers become friends, and the soundtrack is as essential as the cocktail in your hand.
