Paradise Lost is an East Village tiki bar that swaps South Seas clichés for demonology and the occult, and takes its name from Milton's poem. Founders Kavé Pourzanjani and Ray Sakover met at The Polynesian. Guests walk through a verdant passage to a neon sign and a door with a snake for a handle, then into a long room of taxidermy, demon-inspired mugs and surf punk. The menu runs to rum flights and Ti' Punch service, with Chaos Magick among the signatures. It is walk-in only and 21 and over, with no parties above eight.
