YAO Rooftop Bar & Lounge sits on the 32nd floor of the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse on Surawong Road, the same floor as the hotel's YAO Cantonese restaurant. The evening moves from golden hour on the Lounge Deck to the livelier Sky Deck, pairing panoramic views with Asian sharing dishes, cocktails and music. Most of the signature cocktails take Chinatowns around the world as their theme: the Silverlake Mule nods to Los Angeles, the San Francisco Sour uses Jameson Black Barrel and mandarin, and the Binondo Margarita looks to Manila, while the Hikari Blossom combines jasmine tea infused gin, lychee and chrysanthemum. Guests can come for drinks without dining, daily from 5pm to 1am.
