The Cruise Room opened in the Oxford Hotel the day after Prohibition was repealed in 1933 and calls itself Denver's original cocktail bar, running continuously ever since. Its art deco room was modeled on a lounge aboard the RMS Queen Mary, and it is known for its martini and for a bartender's-choice happy hour.
