The Bar at Fort Nelson

The Bar at Fort Nelson occupies the second floor of Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery on West Main Street in downtown Louisville. Its list pairs classic cocktails curated by cocktail historian and author David Wondrich with modern creations from the bar team, so a guest can move between a faithful old recipe and something built in house. Glassware comes from the United Kingdom producer John Jenkins, and the ice program runs machines from Clinebell, Hoshizaki and Scotsman. The room also works as a resource for the local Kentuckiana bar community, hosting educational seminars from leading industry professionals through its Fort Nelson Fellows program. Entry is 21 and over, reservations are encouraged and walk in guests are welcome.
