MoonDog is a quan nhau, a Vietnamese term for a place built around eating and drinking, and it sits in the heart of Butchertown on East Main Street. The room is designed to feel like an open air market in Vietnam, with a large patio and vibrant color throughout. The bar is a celebration of Vietnamese flavors crafted into something entirely new, with craft cocktails built on ingredients popular in Vietnamese culture, plus a local draft beer selection and a curated wine list. It was the first space in Kentucky to carry spirits from Song Cai, Vietnam's first artisanal distillery. The kitchen runs familiar and modern dishes through lunch, dinner and late night.
