Pretty Decent is a 20-seat cocktail bar at 2235 Frankfort Avenue in Louisville, reached by walking through a working plant shop. The drinks run almost entirely on mezcal, tequila, rum and other Mexican spirits, mostly bright, citrus-led shaken cocktails, alongside a list of classics. A single shelf holds more than 200 heritage Mexican spirits, and the leather-bound spirits list doubles as a guide to agave. The 14-foot maple bar sits at kitchen counter height with no barrier between guests and bartenders, and a turntable and vinyl wall set the mood.
