Next Door is a 30-seat hidden bar in East Boston, reached through a concealed entrance beside the Italian restaurant Pazza on Porter, with reservations and a nightly password. The room is dressed in heavy curtains and blue velvet banquettes, and the cocktails are presented with theatrical touches such as citrus smoke bubbles and misty lock boxes. A raw bar, small plates and caviar make up the food, and a dress code applies.
