María Mezcal runs two houses on Calle Manuel Bonilla in Miraflores, the Mezcalería at number 132 and the Casona at 227, a Mexican cantina created in Lima in 2021 and built around what the bar calls the largest mezcal selection in Peru. Mezcal and tequila anchor a room that leans fully into cantina culture, with tacos, cheladas, aguas frescas, and Mexican ballads keeping the crowd singing deep into the night. Since 2025 the cocktail menus have carried the hand of Aaron Díaz, the bartender who built his name at Lima's Carnaval and now leads new projects for the group behind María Mezcal, La Cachina, La Calor, and El Infusionista, a family of concept bars clustered on the same Miraflores street.
