According to the announcement, Rosewood Hong Kong holds the No. 1 spot in The World’s 50 Best Hotels for both 2025 and 2026, while Bar Leone claimed No. 1 in The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2025. A collaboration between the top-ranked hotel and the top-ranked bar on their respective lists, in the same city, is the kind of alignment that rarely materializes.
The announcement describes the Rosewood venture as an entirely new concept developed exclusively for the hotel rather than an extension of the existing bar, meaning Antinori and Shun Wah are building something distinct for the hotel context.

The new bar will join an already deep food and beverage bench at the property.
