Best Cocktail Bars in Arizona

Arizona's cocktail bars spread from Phoenix and Paradise Valley to Scottsdale and Tucson. The best cocktail bars in Arizona begin with Century Grand in Phoenix, which ranked 36th on North America's 50 Best Bars 2024. Highball made the 2026 Spirited Awards' Regional Top 10 for Best U.S. Cocktail Bar, and Pretty Penny drew the same regional nod in the restaurant bar category. In North Scottsdale, a host leads guests down the steps below The Americano to Tell Your Friends, a 1920s-style speakeasy of 52 seats. In Tucson, Nightjar shares a 160-year-old property with the Coronet restaurant and builds its drinks on culinary ideas. Tell Your Friends asks for cocktail attire. These are the bars we would start with.
