Whisky & Words is a narrow, high-ceilinged bar on Shin Hing Street, across the steps from Coa, with walls lined in vintage books and a lo-fi hip-hop soundtrack. It pours whiskies from Taiwan's Nantou Distillery to Scotland and Japan alongside cocktails, and runs a Shin Hing social hour from 5pm to 7pm.
