Macau
Two Moons sits on Rua de Pedro Nolasco da Silva in the historic centre of Macau, directly across from the Consulate General of Portugal, and was opened in 2020 by Frankie Leong, who had tended bar at Milroy's of Soho, the oldest independent whisky specialist in London. It began as a haven for whisky drinkers and grew into a bar devoted to fine spirits more broadly, with shelves that reach well past Scotland. By day the room works as a coffee shop, and the coffee is treated with the same care as the drinks poured later. The cocktail list is deliberately short, numbered simply one to ten, and ranges from Spanish brandy to Japanese shochu; an eleventh option is whatever the bar team builds around a guest's taste.
