'Cocktails and chat' is the whole idea: Kenny Soetomo — a nineteen-year bartending veteran — opened The Golden Tooth in March 2023 as a well-stocked living room in Melawai, a Brooklyn-loft space of rugged concrete, steel beams and plush armchairs under a skylight. The menu runs on flavour memory rather than technique, outside food is welcome (cup noodles, fried crickets offered), and the unhurried approach carried it to No.40 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026.
