The Elysian Bar sits inside Hotel Peter and Paul in the Marigny, a boutique hotel converted from a former church, schoolhouse, rectory and convent a few blocks from Frenchmen Street. It works as restaurant, bar and cafe at once, and its name plays on both Elysian Fields as paradise and the avenue that divides the neighborhood.
