The Alley

The Alley is a Prohibition-themed cocktail bar behind Bonjour Vietnam on California Avenue in West Seattle, reached through what looks like a supply room and a locker door at the back of the restaurant. Inside are crystal chandeliers, velvet stools and spirits kept in locked cabinets, and the list keeps to Prohibition-era cocktails made with house syrups and fresh juice, with wine, beer and small bites alongside. Jazz trios play on Sunday and Monday evenings, and no reservation is needed.
