Szimpla Kert is the long-running ruin bar on Kazinczy utca in the Jewish Quarter, set in an old factory building stripped back to the brick and filled with salvaged furniture, graffiti, fairy lights and local art. It runs bars across its rooms and an open courtyard, with live music on many nights. A farmers' market fills the building on Sunday mornings, and it stays open until 4am every night.
