Saint Valentine bills itself as a neighborhood cocktail bar, and it describes its own room as a little bit posh and a little bit scrappy: smoky mirrors and intricate tile mosaics on one side, old school diner style booths on the other. The bar takes its name from the West Texas town, and the house list sets precise classics beside drinks of its own, among them the Goose Fat Martini, the Montclair Manhattan, the Pink Negroni, Big Booty Trudy and La Nina Margarita. Bar food runs until late. Happy hour opens the evening, and the doors stay open until two.
