Providencia is a 22-seat bar in an alley off H Street NE, opened in 2024 by Maketto's bar team Pedro Tobar and Daniel Gonzalez with chef Erik Bruner-Yang. The owners describe it as a love letter to the immigrant experience, and the drinks, listed as memories, draw on Taiwanese and Salvadoran flavors. A small kitchen menu runs until midnight, and the MICHELIN Guide added Providencia to its Washington selection in 2025.
