Bar Chinois opened in Mount Vernon Triangle in October 2021, pairing a Chinese kitchen with a French-inspired cocktail and wine program and plenty of Champagne. The drinks run from a Calvados daiquiri to the Big Pink, with tequila, creme de cassis and grapefruit soda, while the kitchen serves dumplings, red chili wontons and garlic noodles late every night. DJs play on busy nights, there is weekend brunch, and the bar won the RAMMY for Best Bar in 2024.
