PocketSquare Skyline Bar and Terrace is on the ninth floor of the Hyatt Place London City East on Whitechapel Road, with a rooftop terrace looking over the East London skyline. Its drinks come from the bar's own Drinks Lab, which makes exclusive infusions for a hand-crafted cocktail list. The signatures take their cue from the neighborhood: the 1948 is a bourbon drink that pays tribute to Jackson Pollock and the Whitechapel Gallery, and the Royal Mint, a twist on the Eastside Fizz with Hendrick's gin and prosecco, nods to the Tower of London. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to midnight, with last orders at 11:30pm, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
