L'Antiquaire

L'Antiquaire has been pouring classic cocktails in Lyon since 2010, from Rue Hippolyte Flandrin in the first arrondissement, a short walk from Place des Terreaux. The room looks to American bars of the 1950s and 1960s: leather banquettes, candles, low light and alcoves that let a table sit half apart from the rest. Jazz and blues play under the conversation, and a heated terrace extends the space outside. Bartenders work both the classic canon and their own creations, with boards to share alongside. The house also calls itself a bar restaurant and can take groups of up to eighty. On Friday and Saturday the license runs to three in the morning.
