Contrast stands at 32 Rue Palais Grillet in the Presqu'île district of Lyon. The bar describes demanding mixology and a refined card of house cocktails that play with textures, aromas and contrasts, served alongside tapas and craft beers. Named drinks include Cerisaõ, built on gin, cacao liqueur, cherry cordial, lemon and egg white, plus Poir(é) Spritz with elderflower, pear and sparkling wine, a Weekly Negroni served with Nocellara olives, the frozen rum based Coco Cabana and Totally Spice with tequila, pineapple cordial and chili. Musical programming runs from jazz to electronic. Hours are Monday to Wednesday 5pm to 11:30pm, Thursday and Friday to 1am, and Saturday 3pm to 1am.
