Attached to Arnaud's Restaurant, founded in 1918, French 75 carried Chris Hannah's programme for fourteen years before he departed to co-found Jewel of the South. A Top 4 finalist for Best U.S. Restaurant Bar at the 2026 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, the current team sustains a programme that treats the namesake champagne cocktail as a point of departure rather than a destination. The room carries the patina of a century-old Creole dining institution, and the drinks honour that lineage without being imprisoned by it. French 75 endures because the standard Hannah set remains the standard.
