Julio Cabrera, the Roku Industry Icon for North America's 50 Best in 2023, built this Calle Ocho bar on the cantinero tradition: handcrafted daiquiris, mojitos, and El Presidente cocktails served by bartenders in traditional attire who treat acrobatic bottle work as craft rather than showmanship. At No. 82 on the World's extended list and No. 13 on North America's ranking, Café La Trova channels authentic Cuban drinking culture through a collaboration with James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein.
