Angry Monk opened on Uzun Mirkova in Belgrade in 2019 and describes itself as a food temple and cocktail lab, an Asian fusion dining room that reads as more than a restaurant. An impressive bar anchors the space and acts as its gathering point, while open kitchens put the cooks in view. The design borrows from Tokyo's urban rhythm and Kyoto's quieter elegance, taking street entertainment energy and moving it into a warm, elegant setting. The kitchen works from Japanese and wider pan-Asian flavors, built on fresh local ingredients rather than the usual sushi bar conventions. Doors open at noon daily, with the license running to two on Friday and Saturday.
