The fourth edition of Gran Corso by Tres Monos once again proved that a cocktail bar can be far more than a place to drink. Held during Buenos Aires’ carnival weekend, the event transformed Thames Street into a living celebration of cocktail culture, public space, and popular tradition, merging neighborhood energy with global bar talent.
Led by founders Seba Atienza, Charly Aguinsky, and Gus Vocke, Gran Corso unfolded as a city-scale experience. A marching band parade, dancers, and local residents set the tone, turning the street into a block party that felt spontaneous yet deeply intentional. Inside the bars, international guest bartenders took over stations across Tres Monos and its sister venues, extending the celebration beyond a single address.
The programming expanded into Victor Audio Bar, La Uat, and nearby CoChinChina, creating a rare multi-venue narrative that connected bars, people, and ideas. Guests included bartenders from Tokyo, Paris, Montevideo, Mexico City, Santiago de Chile, Lima, and Barcelona, reinforcing Buenos Aires’ position as a global crossroads for modern cocktail culture.

Gran Corso’s impact went beyond nightlife. Visiting bartenders also spent time at La Escuelita, the bartending school founded by Tres Monos in the Mugica neighborhood, where education and access remain central to the project’s philosophy. This connection between celebration and opportunity is what continues to define Tres Monos’ identity on the world stage.
By blending street culture, education, and world-class hospitality, Gran Corso has evolved into more than an annual party. It has become a blueprint for how bars can engage cities, not just serve them.
