The Buenos Aires bar Tres Monos has been named Best Bar in South America and ranked No.10 in the World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, reaffirming Argentina’s growing influence on global cocktail culture. Led by Sebastián Atienza and Charly Aguinsky, Tres Monos continues to represent the creative, community-driven energy defining the continent’s new generation of bartenders.
Adding to their success, the duo’s second venue, Victor Audio Bar, which opened in March 2025, debuted at No.87 on the extended 100-list — a rare achievement for two bars under the same ownership. Their third concept, La Uat, a lively late-night party bar, is also expanding its footprint this year due to rising popularity.
Beyond the accolades, Atienza and Aguinsky are deeply committed to social impact through La Escuelita, a cocktail school located in a Buenos Aires shantytown, offering free training to young people from underprivileged backgrounds and helping them secure jobs in hospitality. The initiative has become a model of how bars can drive change within their communities.
Tres Monos also unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025–26 cocktail menu, a bold and playful celebration of Argentine culture. The menu features twists on local favorites like the Cynar Julep and Gancia Batido, creatively inspired by national icons such as Diego Maradona. Each drink showcases Argentine ingredients and includes spirits developed in-house — including the bar’s own sake and bourbon-style whisky.

As Atienza and Aguinsky continue to expand their influence through new projects, education, and mentorship, Tres Monos stands as a symbol of Argentina’s global rise in mixology — proving that authenticity, community, and creativity can put South America at the center of the world’s bar conversation.
