Big Fuzz sits behind a red door on the second floor of the Creekside building on Amorsolo Street, at the edge of Makati's Little Tokyo. It is run by co-owners Kyle Quismundo, who heads the bar, Eli Paraiso and Elmo Ulanday, and the room plays rock records on vinyl. The list mixes classics and modern classics with house cocktails named after rock songs, and the bartenders make drinks to order on request. Tatler Philippines named it Bar of the Year for 2026.
Run Rabbit Run has been making cocktails in Poblacion since 2018 and has moved into a new ground-floor room at Six Axis Center on B. Valdez Street. The space has warm lighting, vintage furniture and design references to Alice in Wonderland, and head bartender EJ Soriano's list takes classic and modern drinks toward fresh ingredients, spice and herbs. The group also runs Mosphil, a martini bar built inside a decommissioned plane, and its sister bar is Bitters & Love in Singapore.
The Blind Pig opened in 2011 and keeps a low profile: a plain black door beside a wall marked in braille, and no social media accounts. Head bartender Tog Exconde has been with the bar since it opened and trained under alumni of New York's Milk & Honey. The menu is a short list of about ten classic-leaning cocktails, and many guests order bartender's choice. The bar moved from its original Salcedo Street site to the ground floor of Windsor Tower on Legazpi Street.
The Grasshopper Bar opened in 2023 in a former convenience store on the ground floor of the OPL Building on C. Palanca Street, marked only by a brass grasshopper outside. It is run by bartenders Lester Ligon, Abby Quilal-lan, Ken Bandivas and Marc and Tiffany Sy, and the dark room has green booths and gold details. The cocktail list is built on local produce, and chef Jane Laude runs a bar menu that reworks Filipino street food.
