The small bar on Leyergasse in the Altstadt, run by Milan Nesin and Matthias Schallies, splits its list into cocktails, highballs and specials, and seats guests inside at a wood-panelled counter with green-leather stools or outside on the lane. Falstaff's Bar Guide 2026 gives it 90 points and says it does not serve run-of-the-mill drinks, offering sophisticated cocktails and sensational highballs instead. Its second location, Frollein Bent, is a beer and cocktail garden on the Neckar. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm.

It occupies the seventh and eighth floors of the Alte Glockengießerei in Bergheim, with a view across Heidelberg, a Japanese-Peruvian kitchen of nigiri, tataki and ceviche, and craft cocktails built on syrups, bitters and toppings made in house. The bar also runs public cocktail courses and tastings. Falstaff's Bar Guide 2026 gives it 92 points, 47 of 50 for the drinks, and describes spectacular drinks with homemade syrups beside the sushi. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 6pm, Saturday from 5pm, with the bar running to 2am on Friday and Saturday.
