The French Room Bar sits off the lobby of the Adolphus on Commerce Street, alongside the hotel's dining room. Guests take a seat at the black marble bar beneath a shining gold ceiling, or settle into blue velvet banquettes among antique portraits and an original fireplace, in a space the hotel calls distinctive and edgy. The bar pours handcrafted cocktails and keeps an impressive Champagne list and a robust wine selection, with indulgent French plates from chef de cuisine Frederic Sulis served until mid evening. Service runs Monday through Saturday from five in the evening until midnight, and the room is closed on Sundays.
