Stray Pirate is a tiki bar on South Commerce Street dressed as a sunken pirate ship crewed by dogs, with portraits of pirate dogs on shiplap walls and portholes looking out on sharks and squid. Owner Chris Gutierrez pours classics such as the Mai Tai and Saturn alongside house drinks like Robbing the Gulf with reposado, watermelon and jalapeno. The bar sells its own ceramic mugs and runs fundraisers for animal charities.
