Salon Salon is the cocktail bar of Maison Métier in New Orleans, reached through a secret entrance inside the hotel on Carondelet Street. The bar describes itself as a salon bedecked with books, eccentric curiosities and magnificence small and large, where moody intrigue meets chic classique. It is, in its own words, a spirited sanctuary for thoughtful cocktails, natural wines, local beers and French-inflected fare, built for long, leisurely nights. Live music plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Mondays bring a caviar and Champagne special, and the kitchen stays open late.
