OXO Tower Bar is on the top floor of the OXO Tower on the South Bank, with views across the Thames to St Paul's. Guests can drink alfresco on the 200ft terrace or watch the City light up from inside the bar as the sun goes down. The cocktail list is substantial, and several signatures carry the names of the bartenders behind them: the Black Pepper Negroni infuses Tanqueray Ten, Campari and Martini Rubino with black pepper, and the Beauty and the Beast shakes Casamigos Blanco tequila with passion fruit, fresh strawberries and basil. There is no need to book for a drink, though the bar suggests calling ahead at weekends. It opens daily from noon.
