A self-serve wine bar with over two hundred bottles, a nightly live jazz program, and an expansive garden hung with twinkling lights and mismatched furniture, Lagniappe has operated in Midtown since 2012 with a formula that sounds simple and proves extraordinarily difficult to replicate. The wine list leans biodynamic and small-producer, the charcuterie boards are self-curated from a display case, and the musicians who play from 9 p.m. occasionally include Grammy winners. Lagniappe proves that a great bar does not require a cocktail shaker.
