Der kleine August is a French wine bar on Auguststraße in Mitte, next to Clärchens Ballhaus, with tall wall shelves, floorboards, bistro furniture and Art Nouveau wallpaper. The list of about 250 wines runs from classic to new wave, led by host Camille Darroux and wine director Pierre Girard, with terrines, charcuterie and raw-milk cheeses to go with it. The minimum age is 16 because the room is small.
