Chez Zou is the cocktail lounge on the fourth floor above Zou Zou's in Manhattan West, reached through the restaurant and an elevator. It opened on 1 March 2022 with bar director Joey Smith, formerly of The NoMad. AvroKO designed the room to evoke Middle Eastern tea rooms, with a six-seat alcove bar, armchairs, curved banquettes and a black and white geometric floor. The drinks lean Mediterranean: the Dirty Zou mixes olive oil vodka with grape leaf brine and shankleesh olives, served as a single or double jarra, and the Banana Danse pairs bourbon with banana, cardamom, chocolate and coconut. A large patio has its own bar. The lounge is mostly walk-in.
