Big in Japan Bar

Big in Japan Bar has occupied the corner of Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Rue Rachel since 2011, behind a nondescript door with no sign. The room is built around a long, winding counter lit by hundreds of candles, with whisky bottles hanging from the ceiling that regulars buy and keep there for a year. The list covers whisky, sake, wine and house cocktails such as the whisky sour.
