Atlanta, Georgia
Bar Margot occupies the mezzanine level of the Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown, and the hotel calls it a swanky community lounge built around small batch spirits and an eclectic menu. It opened in 2015 as a collaboration with restaurateur Ford Fry, with the original spirits list assembled by Atlanta barmen Greg Best and Paul Calvert. Two of their drinks remain fixtures: Lady Victoria, a vodka-based serve the bar calls fresh and garden-esque, and Gin Margot, an elevated variation on a gin and tonic. A DJ plays Friday and Saturday from 8pm to midnight. Doors open daily at 3pm, closing at 11pm midweek and midnight at weekends.
