The Finest Call WFA Online Continental Championship 2026-27 puts flair bartending on a truly global stage, with the World Flair Association and Finest Call Premium Cocktail Mixes launching a $10,000 online championship that will crown five Continental Champions across five regions of the world.
Flair bartending has always been about more than tricks. It is a combination of skill, creativity, entertainment, cocktail knowledge, and the ability to connect with an audience. The new championship takes that spirit worldwide, opening an international stage for bartenders regardless of where they live and work.
A Global Format Built Around Five Regions
The World Flair Association represents a community of more than 20,000 members across 95 countries, and has spent years developing professional standards for flair bartending through education, certification, competitions, its international grading system, and the WFA World Tour. The Continental Championship is the next step in that mission: an international competition that lets bartenders compete, be seen, and earn recognition wherever they are based.
Opening on October 1, 2026, the competition divides the world into five regions: North America; Central America, Caribbean and Latin America; Europe; Africa and Middle East; and Asia and Australia.
Competitors will submit a qualifying routine of no more than 90 seconds, creating an original alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail using at least one Finest Call product while showcasing their flair ability, originality, and performance skills. The five highest-scoring bartenders from each region qualify for the Continental Finals. That means 25 finalists, five regions, and five Continental Champions.
Each finalist will then create an entirely new performance for the final stage, with the five routines from each continent presented as part of an official WFA Continental Championship Show in February 2027.

Prize Money and World Ranking Points
The overall $10,000 prize fund is split equally across the five regions, with each Continental Championship offering $2,000 in prize money. The winner of each region receives $1,000 and the title of WFA Continental Champion, and every bartender reaching the final five takes home prize money.
The event has been officially classified as a WFA Challenger competition, meaning qualifying competitors can also earn WFA World Ranking points, adding another dimension to the growing WFA World Tour and the international race for ranking positions.
The Finest Call Partnership
At the heart of the championship is the partnership with Finest Call Premium Cocktail Mixes, part of American Beverage Marketers, one of the most recognized professional cocktail mixer brands in the global bartending industry. Available in over 100 countries and developed specifically for professional bartenders, Finest Call has built its reputation on quality, consistency, speed, and ease of use behind the bar. The tie-up brings together two organizations with a long-standing connection to the professional bartender community.
“At the heart of our brands is a commitment to supporting bartenders – helping professionals develop their skills, build confidence and create greater opportunities throughout their careers,” says William Hinkebein, CMO and Partner at American Beverage Marketers. “We’re especially excited to see the unique and creative cocktail recipes and flair moves that bartenders from around the world will bring to the program, showcasing different cultures, flavors and individual styles.”

Accessibility as the Core Idea
For the WFA, the most significant element of the championship may be accessibility. International competitions traditionally require flights, accommodation, time away from work, and considerable personal expense. An online format removes many of those barriers, giving bartenders from established flair destinations and emerging markets exactly the same opportunity to participate. A bartender training in London, Tokyo, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, or a small town thousands of kilometers from the nearest international competition can now step onto the same global stage.
“One of the biggest challenges in competitive flair has always been geography,” says Andy Collinson, co-founder of the World Flair Association. “There are incredibly talented bartenders all over the world who simply don’t have regular access to major international competitions, so we wanted to create something that removes that barrier.”
“With five Continental Championships, a $10,000 prize fund and professionally produced final shows, we want this to feel like a major competition – not simply an online video contest,” Collinson adds. “Our ambition is to build this into an important annual event on the WFA World Tour and give more bartenders than ever the opportunity to put themselves on the international stage.”
How to Enter
Entry is free for current World Flair Association members, with qualifying submissions open from October 1 until November 30, 2026. The 25 finalists will be announced before the end of December, final performances are submitted in January, and the five Continental Champions will be crowned in February 2027.
For an organization built around progression, education, and community, the message behind the new competition is clear: where you come from should never determine how far your talent can take you. The stage is worldwide, the opportunity is open, and five new continental champions are waiting to be discovered.
