Upstairs at Rules is the first-floor cocktail bar of Rules, the British restaurant on Maiden Lane in Covent Garden. A dark wood bar in tucked-away nooks, it keeps to classics such as a stirred Martini, a Gimlet and a Bloody Mary on Sunday afternoons, alongside a short house list. Guests often take a drink here before going down to the dining room, but the bar can be visited on its own.
