Sugar King is a small Havana-style bodeguita at the top of Peel Street in Central, opened by John Nugent of The Diplomat with his partner Angel Chiu. The menu centres on daiquiris, with a rotating list of Cuban-leaning cocktails, embutidos and a house flan, and a small outdoor terrazza sits beside the old stone steps. It takes walk-ins only.
